The Opportunity: Dash 7 Captain

Air Tindi Ltd. is currently seeking a highly experienced and safety-oriented Dash 7 Captain to join its dedicated team. While based out of Yellowknife, NT, this critical role necessitates significant travel and work beyond the main base, including travel to and from aircraft locations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, hardworking team player with exceptional customer service skills, possessing a steadfast dedication to safe and efficient flight operations within challenging Northern environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Dash 7 Captain, the incumbent will be entrusted with the overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the de Havilland Canada Dash-7 aircraft. Key duties include ensuring strict adherence to all aviation regulations and company procedures, exercising strong leadership over the flight crew, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism throughout all phases of flight and ground operations.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• Total Time: 4000 hours
• Pilot in Command (PIC): 2500 hours
• Type Experience: Current or previous de Havilland Canada Dash-7 (DHC-7) type experience
• Operational Experience: Demonstrated experience in Northern or Arctic aviation environments is highly desirable

General Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
• Possession of a valid Canadian Passport
• Legally authorized to live and work in Canada
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License
