​WHEN SHOULD I APPLY?

Pilots are hired in the spring. Interested pilots should submit their resumes beginning in January for each fire season. Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and other staff are hired throughout the year.

INTERESTED PILOT APPLICANTS -
BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR RESUME PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Airline Transport Pilot License with an IFR endorsement - current Group 1 instrument rating

Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-command IFR
-
Pilot-in-command - minimum 1,500 hours
-
Where applicable, Pilot-in-command - minimum 500 hours multi-engine
-
Demonstrated experience in mountain flying

Where applicable, valid Seaplane rating
-
Where applicable, Pilot-in-command – minimum 500 hours float flying
