The Opportunity

The national carrier is seeking highly qualified and experienced aviation professionals for the role of Captain on the ATR 72-500/600 type. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a commitment to delivering service excellence, accountability, and integrity while embracing this significant career opportunity.

General Requirements for ATR 72-500/600 Captain

Prospective Captains must satisfy the following minimum mandatory qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid ATPL(A) with a current ATR72-500/600 Type Rating.
  • Total Flight Time (TFT) on Commercial Air Transport (CAT) exceeding 5,000 hours on aircraft with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) above 20 tonnes.
  • Minimum of 1,500 hours logged as Pilot in Command (PIC) in Commercial Air Transport operations.
  • A minimum of 2,000 hours of flight experience specifically on the ATR72-500/600 type.
  • A minimum of 1,000 hours logged as PIC specifically on the ATR72-500/600 type.
  • The candidate's last flight on the ATR 72-500/600 must have occurred within the preceding 12 months.
  • Possession of a valid EASA FCL, Serbian CAD license, or a validated license acceptable to the Serbian Civil Aviation Directorate (CAD).
  • Current and valid Class I Medical Certificate.
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher.

Application Documentation Checklist

To ensure a swift and efficient application process, candidates must submit the following documentation along with their application:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) inclusive of a passport-sized photograph.
  • Copy of a valid passport.
  • Copy of the valid flying license.
  • Copy of the current Medical Certificate.
  • Official certificate confirming the validity of the flying license from the issuing Authority (required if the license was not issued by the Serbian CAD).
  • Official certification or report copy confirming no history of accidents or incidents issued by responsible civil aviation authorities or previous operators.
  • Certificate confirming the individual is not subject to a criminal investigation and possesses no criminal record.
  • Copies of the last two pages of the logbook, clearly displaying total flight time per category.
  • A formal “Letter of Recommendation” from the last employer, including relevant contact details.
