Job Description and Qualifications

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, is looking for a Corporate Pilot to join our impressive Aviation team!

As a Corporate Pilot within Air Products, the principal accountabilities of this position would include:

  • Perform the duties of Pilot-In-Command
  • Carry out duties in providing safe, efficient air transportation.
  • Participates in the Air Transport Department’s Safety Management System
  • The Pilot-In-Command (PIC) shall perform those duties stipulated throughout the Flight Operations Manual and specific responsibilities designated to the PIC by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Chief Pilot.
  • Serve as a mentor and positive role model for all team members by demonstrating adherence to policy and industry best


  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with multi-engine rating and at least one type rating in a jet aircraft more than 60,000 pounds MTOW
  • Gulfstream or Falcon experience preferred
  • International large-cabin business jet experience required.
  • FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Captain with a corporate flight department flying passengers to domestic and international locations
  • Current and qualified as a Pilot-in-Command in a multi-engine jet aircraft with a minimum of:
  • 5000 hours total flying time
  • 3000 hours turbojet aircraft time
  • 2000 hours Pilot-in-Command time
  • Hold a Valid Passport
  • Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • No aircraft accidents or incidents, or full explanation of circumstances
  • No past or pending FAA violations or full explanation of circumstances
  • Able to present for inspection all logbooks, licenses, and medical certificate
  • Position requires extensive domestic and international travel
  • Applicant must be able to lift 70 lbs.
  • Holidays, weekends, and on-call status are routine. Two-hour call-out is required.
