This Title 32 Excepted Service position requires proficiency in advanced precision instrument flight techniques and comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems.

About the Role

As an Airplane Pilot, the incumbent will execute assigned missions in various weather conditions, adhering to strict flight parameters and standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include thorough flight preparation, including weather analysis, route planning, and pre-flight checks. Post-flight duties involve maintaining logs, preparing reports, and coordinating with maintenance personnel. The role may also involve serving as Supervisor of Flying (SOF), responsible for mission safety and efficiency. Additionally, the pilot will design and implement training plans, establish training objectives, and manage the unit flying schedule, coordinating with relevant agencies like the FAA and Aircraft Maintenance Division.
