The Air National Guard (ANG) Aviation Wing, Operations Group, currently has an opening for an Airplane Pilot (Accelerated Hire) located within the CA 144 FW. This is an open-until-filled announcement; applications will be reviewed every 30 days.
This is a T32 Excepted Service position that may be filled on a permanent, indefinite, or temporary basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to pilot unit-equipped (UE) aircraft while performing essential administrative tasks in support of the Air Operations program.
General Experience: Applicants must hold a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification from an accredited civilian aviation program or an aviation certification from an accredited military aviation school, plus one year of on-the-job experience in the grade or comparable military rank immediately below the next higher level.
Specialized Experience (GS-13): Must possess at least 36 months of specialized experience in operating specific main-frame military aircraft.
Candidates must provide proof of FAA certification or military aviation certification at the time of application. Unofficial transcripts and certificates are required for verification. Only education from institutions accredited by the U.S. Department of Education will be accepted. Foreign education must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
