The Air National Guard (ANG) Aviation Wing, Operations Group, CA 144 FW, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Airplane Pilot (GS-2181-13). This T32 Excepted Service role involves piloting unit-equipped (UE) aircraft while performing essential administrative tasks to support the Air Operations program. This is an open-until-filled announcement, with application reviews conducted every 30 days.
Candidates must possess a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification from an accredited civilian program or an aviation certification from an accredited military aviation school, along with at least one year of on-the-job experience in the grade immediately below the next higher level.
Applicants must demonstrate at least 36 months of specialized experience in operating a specific main-frame military aircraft. Candidates will be evaluated on competencies in Operation and Control, Planning and Evaluating, Safety and Security, and Education and Training Program Administration.
Applicants must submit unofficial transcripts and/or certificates at the time of application to verify educational or certification requirements. Only education from institutions recognized by the U.S. Department of Education is accepted. Foreign education must be accompanied by a professional evaluation deeming it equivalent to a U.S. accredited program.
