The Role: B-787 First Officer

Minimum Requirements

Prospective First Officers must meet the following stringent criteria to be considered for these distinguished roles:

Possession of a valid ICAO State Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
A current and valid ICAO Class 1 Medical Certificate.
Demonstrated English language proficiency at ICAO Level 4 or higher.
A valid ICAO Jet Aircraft Type Rating, inclusive of a Command Instrument Rating.
Total flight time exceeding 3,000 hours.
Commercial jet aircraft experience totaling more than 500 hours.
Documented commercial jet Pilot In Command (PIC) time.
Demonstrated multi-engine jet aircraft experience.
Total PIC time exceeding 250 hours OR total Pilot Under Supervision (PUS) time exceeding 500 hours OR a combination of total PIC/PUS time of 180 hours plus total PIC time of 70 hours.
Cross-country flight time greater than 200 hours.
Cross-country PIC/PUS time greater than 100 hours.
Instrument flight time exceeding 75 hours.
Night flight time exceeding 100 hours.
