Work and family - your balance is important to us

AIR HAMBURG offers you not only a familiar working atmosphere, but also planned freedom for private life. In the established, monthly duty roster, your off-requests are taken into account in combination with fixed flight blocks of up to seven days. So you can enjoy a plannable presence and absence from your place of residence. In addition, we ensure your private relaxation through our reliable annual vacation planning.

Our Open Base System gives you the option of staying in your home. You only have to reach a busy European airport within two hours.

In order to create an ideal work-life balance, we also offer you a family program - such as our traditional family celebration, to which we invite you with your family and friends. Partly as a family program so that the offspring get to know their parents' passion early on and develop understanding. After all, work and family should be as compatible as possible.

Business aviation at the cutting edge.

Flying as a calling - our 220 cockpit crew members share this passion.

We offer you a professional perspective with a lot of variety, constant fleet expansion and a unique team spirit! Your everyday flying is characterized by exclusive and demanding customers, individual flight times and often breathtaking backdrops.

A large fleet guarantees variety and development opportunities

Our fleet currently consists of 38 aircraft that we operate in business charter worldwide. We offer committed pilots a convincing selection of aircraft types:

  • Dassault Falcon 7X
  • Embraer Legacy 600/650 / 650E
  • Embraer Phenom 300 / 300E
  • Cessna Citation XLS +
  • Cessna Citation CJ2

The further development of employees is a declared goal within our company. We support you when entering the cockpit, on the way to the captain, on a larger model or in a further role as a mentor or trainer for colleagues. Flight operations require and promote internal upgrades, but also enable external applicants to join the AIR HAMBURG flight crew thanks to the growth in the fleet. Would you like to develop yourself and AIR HAMBURG further? We look forward to your food for thought! Because we see ourselves as entrepreneurs in the company - so everyone can contribute in the best possible way and together as a team expand the AIR HAMBURG product. Your impulse is needed!

Training and support

Regular training of our crews guarantees the highest safety standards. We train in Hamburg (Ground Training), in the simulator center in Burgess Hill and Amsterdam at CAE and in Zurich in cooperation with Lufthansa Aviation Training. Computer-based training supplements the education and training program all year round. In addition, you are offered a strong team cohesion from the start despite the Open Base System: We welcome you across departments on your first day at the Head Quarter in Hamburg. During the onboarding you will get to know processes, department heads and new colleagues. This is followed by training on the company's internal operations by flight operations.

We are aware: the key to success is team spirit! That is why we combine safety standards and work processes with team events. For example, a line check does not only take place on board a jet on a flight - before each check, the trainer and the crew hold a team evening to discuss current issues and experiences of the crews from the last few months. The personal is in the foreground with us. We turned the standardized, prescribed CRM course into a TRD training course. The Resource Development team is a two-day training course in which colleagues from the flight and ground crew take part. You will be trained by an external coach in cooperation with our flight operations manager.

You can enjoy 24/7 support from us in your everyday flight routine. Our Operations Control Center works around the clock for the flight crews and is available for all questions about your flight.
