Air France Hop, a key operator within the Air France Group, is actively seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates for the role of Junior Pilot / First Officer Candidate. Mandatory Minimum Requirements
Prospective candidates must meet the following non-negotiable criteria to be considered for this prestigious aviation role:
- License Requirement: The applicant must possess a current, valid EASA-issued license. Essential qualifications include a Frozen Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Multi-Crew Cooperation Certificate (MCC), Multi-Engine (ME) rating, and Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT).
- Medical Certification: A valid EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate must be maintained throughout the application and training process.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP): Applicants must demonstrate ICAO English Language Proficiency at Level 5 or higher.
- Type Rating: A Type Rating is not required at the time of application, as comprehensive training will be provided by Air France Hop.
- Language Proficiency (French): Fluency in French is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates who do not possess French as a first language must hold FCL 055 Level 6 proficiency in French.
Terms and Conditions
The successful candidate must be fully committed to the demanding training schedules and operational standards of the Air France Group.
- Training Commitment: Applicants must successfully complete all aspects of the initial training programs managed by HOP!, Air France, and Transavia without fail.
- Visa/Work Authorization: Visa sponsorship or assistance with procuring residency permits will not be provided. Candidates must possess the necessary right to live and work within the European Union (EASA licensing jurisdiction).
Desired Experience
While not mandatory, candidates who can demonstrate the following operational experience will be favorably considered:
- Aircraft Experience: Having previous flying experience on a certified CS-25 (large transport category) or CS-23 (normal, utility, aerobatic, and commuter category) type aircraft is considered a significant advantage.
