Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating aircraft in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), adhering to the company’s Operations Manuals and the Aircraft Flight Manual. As a member of the Flight Crew, the Pilot is expected to demonstrate excellent flying proficiency, strong interpersonal communication skills, and sound decision-making abilities, coupled with the capacity to deliver the highest standards of customer care. Operating within a highly competitive market segment, exceptional service quality and commercial awareness are deemed essential. Maintaining impeccable personal presentation at all times is required. The role demands high operational standards, acute safety awareness, and exceptional crew resource management skills. Providing outstanding customer service and ensuring operational efficiency should be ingrained attributes.
Location and Operational Scope
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Faro, Portugal. The role involves operating on a fixed roster, primarily conducting flights within Europe. However, holding a Worldwide AOC necessitates flexibility to operate outside this region frequently. Prior worldwide operational experience is considered a significant advantage. Due to the dynamic nature of the operation, candidates must be prepared to offer flexibility when required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Must hold a valid EASA license.
- Possesses a Cessna 560 Excel series type rating.
- A minimum of 750 hours total flying time.
- A background in Business / Executive VVIP aviation is preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Maintains high operational standards, safety awareness, and exceptional crew resource management skills.
- Exhibits an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong commercial spirit.
- Is highly organised and motivated.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Holds a valid EASA Class 1 aviation medical certificate.
- Must possess the unrestricted right to live and work within the EU.
- Knowledge of aviation platforms such as Centrik and Leon would be an advantage.
