Flight Dispatcher Training Specialist
TUI Group is seeking a licensed and experienced Flight Dispatcher to join the Operation Centre as a Training Specialist. This role offers exciting and challenging tasks within flight planning and dispatch, contributing to the success of TUI Airline, which brings together TUI Airways (UK), TUI fly Nordic, TUI fly Belgium, TUI fly Netherlands, and TUI fly Germany. About the Role:
The Flight Dispatcher Training Specialist will be responsible for:
- Providing theoretical and practical Basic Flight Operations Officer (FOO)/Flight Dispatcher (FD) initial training for newly hired personnel within the TUI Operation Control Centre (TOCC) and Group Operation Centre (GOC).
- Further developing Basic FOO/FD Initial & Recurrent Training programs for TUI OCC and TUI GOC employees.
- Conducting training activities for theoretical and practical sessions.
- Delivering training to third-party/external customers.
- Ensuring training compliance with IOSA standards, CAA regulations, EASA requirements, and ICAO provisions.
- Preparing candidates for Flight Dispatcher License examinations.
- Regularly assessing the quality of training materials, ensuring all documents are up to date.
- Functioning as an evaluator.
- Developing, compiling, and updating training programs, syllabi, and documentation for internal and external customers.
- Participating in marketing activities.
About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Hold a German Flight Operations Officer License or another recognized dispatcher license.
- Possess a minimum of three years of experience as a Flight Operations Officer in short-haul or long-haul operations.
- Demonstrate prior experience as a trainer.
- Exhibit excellent German and English language skills.
- Show a willingness to participate in continuous education and training.
- Commit to supporting the GOC strategy.
- Display strong customer and results orientation, teamwork, and coaching skills.
