Airbus Simulator Instructor

Air Astana is seeking an experienced Airbus Ground and Flight Simulator Instructor based in Almaty. This role involves delivering high-standard ground and full-flight simulator (FFS) training, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to operational improvements.

About the Role

The Airbus Simulator Instructor will be responsible for:

• Delivering comprehensive ground and full-flight simulator (FFS) training in accordance with the highest industry standards.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all training documentation, including forms, certificates, and records, for submission to training administration.
• Promptly reporting any pilot performance falling below the required standard to the Flight Training Manager.
• Identifying and proposing corrections for any errors or discrepancies found within Operational Manuals (OM) and other Air Astana training or operations documentation.
• Adhering to aviation security procedures, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections for prohibited items, and ensuring controlled access to aircraft.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid ICAO ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence).
• A minimum of one year of airline experience.
• A minimum of 1,500 total flight hours.
• At least 500 hours of flight experience on type.
• ICAO English language proficiency at Level 4 or above.
• Demonstrated strong feedback skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Decisive decision-making capabilities.
