A leading aviation entity in the UAE is seeking a qualified Flight Instructor Examiner to conduct flight instruction and examinations. This role involves exercising examiner and instructor privileges for various ratings and licenses, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards. The position is based in the UAE.
About the Role
The Flight Instructor Examiner will be responsible for conducting flight instruction and examinations in accordance with GCAA CAR FCL Rev.5. This includes exercising examiner and instructor privileges for MPL, IR, MPLI, and IRI issuing, ensuring compliance with ATO, AOC, and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include conducting standardization and proficiency checks, delivering specialized training such as MPL competency-based training and Instrument Rating Instructor training, and acting as deputy to the Chief Flight Instructor. The role also encompasses establishing and supervising training plans, managing at-risk cadets, updating training materials, and providing mentorship.
Requirements

Minimum 2,000 flying hours.

Minimum 100 examiner/checking hours.

Compliance with CAR FCL recency requirements.

Strong understanding of aviation regulations, procedures, and best practices for flight training.

In-depth knowledge of safety procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Valid CPL/ATPL with IR (GCAA CAR FCL).

GCAA Flight Examiner authorization.

GCAA Flight Instructor Examiner authorization.

Qualified MPLI and IRI; AOC instructional approval (where applicable).

Valid Class 1 Medical.

English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.

AUPRT qualification (mandatory).

Successfully completed an MPL Instructor training course at a GCAA-approved ATO.

Fluent in English (Arabic and other languages are an advantage).
