Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew Training Instructor is responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training courses for Cabin Crew staff. This role ensures all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are taught in strict accordance with Air Arabia approved quality standards and GCAA/CAA regulations, fostering a culture of excellence and maintaining the corporate image.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver effective training programs to meet operational needs, safety, and quality standards, ensuring corrective actions are implemented for Cabin Crew performance defaults.
  • Conduct mandatory Initial, Conversion/Differences, Recurrent, and Refresher training for Cabin Crew and Pilots, including progress monitoring and management reporting.
  • Deliver theoretical and practical training covering passenger conduct, firefighting, CPR and First Aid, safety procedures, emergency and catering equipment, CRM, aircraft layout, and security.
  • Train crew on post-flight procedures, including documentation, occurrence reports, and handover/takeover protocols.
  • Facilitate leadership training and one-to-one coaching sessions for Senior Cabin Crew to promote professional growth.
  • Evaluate Cabin Crew competency, maintain records of license renewals, and manage certificate compliance.
  • Update and communicate the Cabin Security Procedures Manual (CSPM) to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Draft and approve safety bulletins, ensuring all crew members are informed of relevant updates.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements, maintaining accurate function-related documentation and records.
  • Contribute to the Cabin Crew selection exam databank and manage the readiness of training facilities and equipment.
  • Support new joiner induction programs via the Learning Management System (LMS) and conduct knowledge evaluation briefings.
  • Provide training support to other hubs and third parties as required by Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Operate as a Cabin Supervisor and perform observational flight checks when scheduled.
  • Continuously update cabin safety and customer service training syllabi.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Education, or a Diploma equivalent is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as "Train the Trainer" or "Instructive Training" are advantageous.
  • Appropriate aviation training licenses are considered an asset.
  • Formal First Aid training is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web research, and Audio-Visual equipment management.
  • Fluency in the English language.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the aviation industry, with at least 2 years served as an Operating Senior Cabin Crew member.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CAA rules and regulations concerning cabin services, licensing, and operational procedures.
  • Proven experience as a professional Training Instructor.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting training in First Aid and Airline Safety.
  • Expertise in planning, designing, and delivering training curriculum for Cabin Crew.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce and interpret data clearly.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a balance of technical expertise and leadership ability.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills, capable of working in high-pressure environments.
  • Detail-oriented approach with experience in internal/external audit practices.
