Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for the airline, striving to enhance the overall customer experience while promoting a positive corporate image. The role requires providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the complete flight cycle. Candidates must be prepared to operate in line with company policies, procedures, and performance measures.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Conduct and Safety

  • Maintain timely attendance, proper grooming, and physical fitness for assigned flights.
  • Participate in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, and security requirements.
  • Instruct passengers on safety procedures and identify potential security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and report irregularities or malfunctions to the flight crew.

Customer Service and Commercial Performance

  • Assist with passenger boarding and manage aircraft logbook data in accordance with Civil Aviation Authority procedures.
  • Address individual passenger needs and assist those experiencing stress or difficulties.
  • Maximize on-board revenue and contribute to the "Charity Cloud" program through the effective promotion of meals, products, and services.
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions securely.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Perform pre-flight checks on emergency and catering equipment; report any deficiencies.
  • Ensure cabin cleanliness at transit stations and coordinate the handover of cabin duties with relevant ground staff.
  • Complete post-flight assessments, report flight discrepancies, and manage duty-free sealing.
  • Assume the duties of the Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintain professional knowledge through recurrent training and ensure all licenses remain current.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Higher Secondary Certificate or Diploma; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
  • Previous training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
  • Must be fit to fly with good general health and no serious or chronic medical conditions.
  • Professional, friendly, and capable of maintaining a positive attitude under stress.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.

Work Experience and Requirements

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Previous experience in aviation or hospitality is considered an added value.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Ability to work shift patterns, extended hours, and demonstrate flexibility regarding busy, changing schedules.
  • Proven ability to deliver against company policies, procedures, and defined KPIs.
