The Cabin Crew Specialist serves as the primary ambassador for the airline, dedicated to promoting a positive corporate image and fostering customer loyalty. The Specialist provides excellent customer service while rigorously ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all passengers throughout the complete flight cycle. The candidate must maintain the highest levels of fitness and readiness to operate, ensuring productivity aligns precisely with established organizational policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling essential duties across safety, service, and operational compliance, contributing significantly to flight efficiency and passenger satisfaction.
1. Operational Readiness and Conduct
- Ensures timely attendance, impeccable personal grooming standards, and verifies the legal fitness to operate all assigned flights.
- Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to assimilate critical flight details, understand role distribution, sales targets, and complete necessary security checks prior to boarding.
2. Safety, Security, and Emergency Measures
- Instructs passengers comprehensively on all safety procedures, maintaining vigilance to ensure passenger security and comfort are preserved at all times.
- Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating promptly with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers whenever necessary, demonstrating composure and proficiency in emergency medical situations.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any observed irregularities, security concerns, or equipment malfunctions.
3. Exceptional Customer Service and Revenue Generation
- Welcomes passengers efficiently and assists with all boarding formalities, ensuring the precise entry of required data into the aircraft log book as per regulatory (GCAA/CAA) and airline-adopted procedures.
- Delivers consistently excellent customer service by attentively managing individual passenger pre-bookings, specific requests, and general needs.
- Identifies and provides supportive assistance to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies detailed in the Operations Manual.
- Contributes actively to maximizing on-board revenue and supports the designated charitable programs by effectively promoting and selling on-board meals, retail products, and charity services to achieve both individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling, accounting, and reporting of all cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
4. Pre-Flight Checks and Reporting Compliance
- Performs comprehensive pre-flight checks to verify the adequacy of supplies, emergency equipment, catering materials, and other specified aircraft equipment prior to departure. Reports any deficiencies immediately to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin during transit stations and confirms that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are stocked before subsequent flights.
- Manages the orderly and complete handover and takeover of the cabin environment to and from catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Carries out required post-flight briefings and generates assessment reports, including objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, detailed reports on flight discrepancies, and the closing/sealing of duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and is prepared to assume the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when officially designated by the Captain.
- Maintains up-to-date professional and safety knowledge by attending mandatory recurrent training, emergency procedures workshops, and ensuring the currency of all required licenses.
- Contributes effectively to team goals by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives, thereby successfully accomplishing related results in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Physical and Experience Requirements
- Age: Between 18 and 29 years for candidates without previous Cabin Crew experience, or up to 33 years for experienced Cabin Crew.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for female applicants; 168 cm for male applicants. All candidates must be able to reach 212 cm on tiptoes.
- Physique: Weight must be in proportion to age and height.
- Appearance: Requires clear skin with no marks or tattoos that would be visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Fitness: Must be medically and physically fit to perform all mandatory Cabin Crew duties, including the ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
- Work Ethic: Must be capable of working demanding shift patterns and extended hours, demonstrating high flexibility and adaptability in response to frequent schedule changes and busy operations.
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as Cabin Crew or in a robust customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered a significant advantage. An active cabin crew license is also beneficial.
Academic and Language Qualifications
- Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required for this role; a diploma specializing in Travel or Tourism is a distinct advantage.
- Training: Documented training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures provides added value.
- Health: Candidates must be fit to fly, possessing good general health without serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Fluency in Arabic is highly preferred.
