Job Summary
A leading airline is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cabin Crew Administrator to join its dynamic aviation team. This pivotal role involves providing comprehensive operational and administrative support to Cabin Crew members, ensuring they are fully compliant, prepared, and legally authorized to operate in accordance with GACA regulatory standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing crew performance, readiness, and documentation, thereby upholding the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all Cabin Services policies, procedures, manuals, and documentation are regularly updated and maintained in compliance with GACA and company standards.
- Manage and monitor flight rosters to guarantee crew adequacy, legal compliance, and fair manpower allocation, liaising directly with the rostering department to address any shortfalls.
- Assist the Manager - Cabin Crew in the holistic performance management of crew members, including grooming, attendance, disciplinary actions, appreciations, and welfare matters.
- Provide support for HR and Finance-related functions, including crew recruitment, on-boarding, accommodation, transportation, and completion of the Familiarization Flight Program.
- Conduct daily pre-flight briefing assessments and random operational checks to monitor adherence to Standard Operating Procedures across all flight phases.
- Facilitate debriefing sessions, mediate conflicts, and provide constructive feedback to crew based on in-flight reports to ensure continuous improvement.
- Perform regular assessments, appraisal reviews, and in-flight evaluations to monitor individual and team performance, ensuring strict adherence to security and service quality standards.
- Prepare and present comprehensive performance reports to management, complete with detailed observations and actionable recommendations.
- Analyze catering and duty-free sales data, audit financial transactions, and collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance customer experience and maximize ancillary revenue.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education & Licensing
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Travel or Tourism is preferred.
- Must hold an active Cabin Crew License from the respective Civil Aviation Authority.
Professional Experience
- A minimum of six years of experience as a Cabin Crew member, including at least three years in a Cabin Supervisor or administrative capacity. Experience with a low-cost carrier is advantageous.
- Demonstrable working exposure to Civil Aviation regulations, particularly those pertaining to crew legality, licensing, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Familiarity with IATA principles and standards related to aviation security.
Skills and Competencies
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel being essential.
- Excellent verbal and written reporting and presentation skills.
- Complete fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional planning, time management, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to perform effectively in challenging environments.
- Strong interpersonal, diplomatic, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage difficult situations with composure and professionalism.
- A dependable, self-motivated individual who demonstrates ownership, energy, and the ability to contribute successfully to business strategies and KPIs.
- Must maintain a presentable appearance and possess good general health and fitness.
