Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew professional serves as a dedicated corporate ambassador, constantly striving to achieve customer loyalty and project a positive corporate image. This critical role provides excellent customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the complete flight cycle. The incumbent maintains operational readiness and fitness, ensuring productivity aligns precisely with established company policies and regulatory procedures.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Operational Conduct and Readiness

  1. Ensures timely attendance, maintains impeccable grooming standards, confirms physical fitness, and verifies legal compliance for all assigned flight duties.
  2. Actively participates in mandatory pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, role distribution, security checks, and operational targets.

Aviation Safety and Security Compliance

  1. Instructs passengers on mandatory safety procedures, safeguarding their well-being and comfort at all times during the flight.
  2. Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement immediate remedial actions strictly according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  3. Administers essential first aid to passengers when required.
  4. Promptly reports all irregularities, malfunctions, or discrepancies to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.

Exceptional Customer Experience and Revenue Generation

  1. Welcomes passengers and facilitates seamless boarding formalities, accurately documenting necessary data in the aircraft logbook in accordance with relevant procedures.
  2. Delivers consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and passenger needs professionally.
  3. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulty, adhering strictly to corresponding policies detailed in the Operations Manual.
  4. Contributes significantly to maximizing on-board revenue and promoting the "Charity Cloud" program through efficient sales of on-board meals, retail products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
  5. Ensures the proper and secure handling of all cash and credit card payments processed against sales and donations.

Logistics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

  1. Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify the sufficiency of supplies, emergency equipment, catering materials, and other specified items prior to take-off, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
  2. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned at transit stations, and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are stocked before subsequent flights.
  3. Manages the orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin environment to/from catering, cleaning, or maintenance personnel.
  4. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per adopted policies, including objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any flight discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers.
  5. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for overall passenger conduct and performs the specialized duties of the Cabin Supervisor when designated as such by the Captain.
  6. Maintains professional competency and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures workshops, and ensuring the currency of the professional license.
  7. Contributes actively to the overall team effort by accomplishing related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Candidate Profile

  • Age must be between 20 and 30 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm for Female candidates, 168 cm for Male candidates.
  • Weight must be proportionate to age and height standards.
  • Requires clear skin, devoid of any visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Candidates must be medically and physically fit to execute all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Must possess the essential ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Academic Qualifications and Language Proficiency

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required for this position; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered advantageous.
  • Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are highly valued.
  • The candidate must be certified as fit to fly, possessing good general health without serious medical or chronic conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic is essential.

Professional Experience and Competencies

  • Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries constitutes an added value.
  • Possession of an active Cabin Crew license is highly desirable.
  • Must be capable of working complex shift patterns and extended working hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability in response to frequent changes and demanding operational schedules.
  • Exhibits the proven ability to successfully deliver against company policies, procedures, and established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
