Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew Member serves as a vital ambassador for the airline, instrumental in cultivating customer loyalty and enhancing the overall passenger experience. This role demands a commitment to providing outstanding customer service while meticulously ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout every stage of the flight cycle. Successful candidates will maintain peak physical and mental readiness, operating efficiently and diligently in strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Professionalism:
- Ensures punctual attendance, impeccable grooming, and optimal fitness, verifying all personal legal requirements are met for assigned flights.
- Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to assimilate flight details, understand role distribution, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks, including verification of supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified aircraft equipment, reporting any deficiencies promptly to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Facilitates seamless cabin operations by assisting with thorough cleaning at transit stations and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free product replenishment before departure.
- Manages orderly and complete cabin handover/takeover processes with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports in accordance with adopted policies, providing objective evaluations, reporting flight discrepancies, and sealing duty-free containers.
- Maintains a high level of professional and safety knowledge through consistent attendance at recurrent, emergency procedures, and educational trainings, ensuring all licenses remain current.
Safety & Security:
- Provides clear and concise instructions to passengers on all safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at every moment.
- Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as required, demonstrating calm and competent response in emergency situations.
- Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as appropriate.
Customer Service & Sales:
- Warmly welcomes passengers and provides assistance with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook in compliance with Airline and Civil Aviation Authority procedures.
- Delivers consistently excellent customer service, proactively attending to passengers' individual pre-bookings, requests, and diverse needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers who may be experiencing stress or difficulties, applying appropriate policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual.
- Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, striving to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures secure and accurate handling of all cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Collaborates effectively within the team to achieve collective results and meet allocated sales targets and objectives.
Leadership & Accountability (For Lead Cabin Crew / Designated Role):
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers.
- Performs the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when officially designated by the Captain, demonstrating leadership and accountability.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age:
- Cabin Crew: 28 Years
- Lead Cabin Crew: 36 Years
- Education:
- Attested SSC (O-Level) Mark Sheet and Certificate with Equivalency Certificate attestation.
- Attested HSC (A-Level) Mark Sheet and Certificate with Equivalency Certificate attestation.
- Legal Documents: Valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) and Passport.
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Proficiency in other languages is a distinct advantage.
- Physical Standards:
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
- Skin: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all cabin crew duties.
- Experience:
- Fresh candidates are welcome to apply for the Cabin Crew Position.
- Only experienced Cabin Crew professionals will be considered for the Lead Cabin Crew Position.
