Cabin Crew / Flight Attendant

Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew / Flight Attendant acts as a frontline ambassador for the airline, diligently working to cultivate customer loyalty and project a positive corporate image at all times. This is achieved through the continuous enhancement of the customer experience, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers from pre-flight preparations through to arrival. The role demands consistent readiness and physical fitness to perform duties, maintaining productivity in accordance with established measures and the airline's adopted policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Readiness and Conduct
- Ensures punctual attendance, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and legal compliance for all assigned flights.
- Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to thoroughly understand flight details, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Conducts comprehensive pre-flight checks of essential supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified aircraft equipment. Promptly reports any identified deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Contributes to maintaining aircraft cabin cleanliness at transit stations and verifies the adequacy of re-catering and duty-free product provisions prior to departure.
- Manages the orderly and complete handover and takeover of the cabin to and from catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
Safety and Security Management
- Provides clear instructions to passengers regarding safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort are maintained without compromise.
- Identifies potential areas of safety and security risks, collaborating proactively with the Cabin Supervisor to implement immediate remedial actions in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as necessary, responding calmly and effectively to medical emergencies.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate, of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Maintains and continuously enhances professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training sessions, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, ensuring all required licenses remain current and valid.
Exceptional Customer Service and In-Flight Experience
- Extends a warm welcome to passengers and assists them with boarding formalities; accurately records necessary data into the aircraft logbook according to Airline and Civil Aviation Authority adopted procedures.
- Delivers consistent and excellent customer service, attentively addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and specific passenger needs.
- Identifies and provides compassionate assistance to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supports the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting in-flight meals, products, and charity services, thereby striving to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of all cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations.
Administrative Duties and Reporting
- Conducts post-flight briefings and completes assessment reports in accordance with adopted policies and procedures, including objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor when applicable.
- Reports any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight and oversees the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers during the flight.
- May be designated by the Captain to perform the duties of a Cabin Supervisor, assuming additional responsibilities as required.
- Contributes actively to team efforts by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age:
- For Cabin Crew Position: 28 Years
- For Lead Cabin Crew Position: 36 Years
- Education: Attested SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or O-Level, and HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) or A-Level, with attested equivalency certificate copies required.
- Documents: Possession of a valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) and Passport.
- Language Proficiency: Demonstrated fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Proficiency in additional languages is considered a significant asset.
- Physical Standards:
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for Female candidates, 170 cm for Male candidates.
- Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height, maintaining a healthy Body Mass Index.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos that would be apparent whilst wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Fitness: Must be medically and physically fit to perform all assigned Cabin Crew duties, including emergency procedures.
- Experience:
- Fresh candidates are encouraged to apply for the Cabin Crew Position.
- Only experienced Cabin Crew professionals are eligible to apply for the Lead Cabin Crew Position.

Assessment Day Guidelines
Candidates attending the assessment day are expected to adhere to the following professional presentation standards:

- Females: Hair must be worn neatly up or pulled back in a classic bun or French twist.
- Males: Hair must be neatly presented and well-groomed.
- Makeup/Face:
- Females: Full make-up is to be worn.
- Males: Face must be clean-shaven.
- Dress Code:
- Females: Professional suit or smart business attire, including a jacket and a plain blouse. Recommended colors are black, grey, or dark blue.

- Females: Formal classic heels.
