Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew acts as an essential ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout every phase of the flight cycle. The Cabin Crew is expected to maintain peak operational readiness and fitness, consistently adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains impeccable personal presentation, ensures timely attendance, and confirms readiness for all assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to assimilate flight details, role assignments, security protocols, and operational targets.
- Conducts comprehensive safety briefings and demonstrations for passengers, guaranteeing their well-being and comfort at all times.
- Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proficiently administers first aid to passengers when required.
- Promptly reports any operational irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
- Greets and assists passengers during boarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient process while accurately logging necessary flight data as per regulatory and company standards.
- Delivers continuous, outstanding customer service, addressing pre-bookings, requests, and individual passenger needs with professionalism.
- Provides compassionate assistance to passengers facing stress or difficulties, adhering to established operational guidelines.
- Actively contributes to on-board revenue generation and the "Charity Cloud" program through effective promotion of products, meals, and charity services, striving to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures meticulous and secure handling of all cash and credit card transactions for sales and donations.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified items, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Collaborates in maintaining cabin cleanliness at transit points and verifies the adequate provision of re-catering and duty-free products.
- Manages seamless handover and takeover procedures for the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective feedback, documenting discrepancies, and managing duty-free container closure.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and is prepared to assume Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
- Actively maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure workshops, and by ensuring all licenses are current.
- Contributes significantly to team objectives and achieves allocated sales targets.
Requirements
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 to 26 years for applicants without prior Cabin Crew experience; up to 33 years for experienced Cabin Crew.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm (Female) and 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: In proportion to height and age.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when in uniform.
- Physical Fitness: Medically and physically capable of performing all Cabin Crew duties.
- Swimming: Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)
- Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required. A Diploma in Travel/Tourism is highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Current First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training are a significant asset.
- Health: Demonstrates excellent general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases, and certified as fit to fly.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
Work Experience
- Experience Level: Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is a distinct advantage.
- Licensing: Possession of an active Cabin Crew license is beneficial.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shift patterns and extended hours as required.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated high flexibility and adaptability to dynamic schedules and frequent operational changes.
- Performance: Proven ability to adhere to company policies and procedures, consistently meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
