Cabin Crew Member
Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew Member serves as the airline's essential ambassador, consistently striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image through an exceptional overall passenger experience. This pivotal role is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, meticulously ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout every phase of the flight cycle. The Cabin Crew Member maintains optimal operational readiness and fitness, meticulously adhering to established productivity measures and the company's adopted policies and procedures for all aviation duties.
Key Responsibilities

Flight Operations & Preparedness: The Cabin Crew Member ensures timely attendance, impeccable grooming, and personal fitness and legal compliance for all assigned flights. This includes active participation in pre-flight briefings to assimilate flight details, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures. They conduct thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items, reporting any deficiencies promptly to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Additionally, the Cabin Crew Member assists in maintaining cabin cleanliness during transit, ensures adequate re-catering and duty-free provisions, and manages orderly cabin handovers/takeovers with ground staff.

Safety & Security Management: The incumbent instructs passengers on vital safety procedures, prioritizing their security and comfort at all times. They proactively identify potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role administers first aid to passengers as required and promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions, ensuring adherence to aviation safety standards.

Exceptional In-Flight Service: The Cabin Crew Member warmly welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook according to airline and Civil Aviation Authority procedures. They provide attentive and continuous excellent customer service, addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. This also includes offering support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, strictly following the guidelines detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.

Revenue Generation & Compliance: The Cabin Crew Member actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting in-flight meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets. They ensure the secure and proper handling of all cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations, maintaining financial integrity.

Continuous Professional Development & Reporting: This role involves maintaining a high level of professional and safety knowledge by regularly attending recurrent training, emergency procedures courses, and educational workshops, ensuring all licenses remain current. The Cabin Crew Member contributes significantly to team success by achieving allocated sales targets and fulfilling assigned objectives. They also conduct post-flight briefings and complete assessment reports as per adopted policies, providing objective evaluations, reporting discrepancies, overseeing the closing and sealing of duty-free containers, and are prepared to undertake the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
Qualifications

Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required. A diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered a significant advantage.

Health & Certifications: Must be fit to fly with excellent general health, free from any serious medical conditions or chronic diseases. Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.

Languages: Fluency in the English Language is mandatory. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage, dependent on the airline's operational requirements for international aviation.

Experience Level: Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for this aviation role.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a Cabin Crew Member or in a customer service capacity within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered an added value. Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
