Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as Air Arabia’s ambassador, striving to achieve customers’ loyalty and to promote a positive corporate image, at all times, through enhancing the overall customers’ experience. He or she provides excellent customer service to all passengers whilst ensuring their safety and comfort are achieved throughout the complete flight cycle. The candidate must be ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity is in line with set measures and the company’s adopted policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and adherence to legal requirements for assigned flights. Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, and security protocols.
Safety Measures:
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Identifying and reporting safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding procedures, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Providing consistent, excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and supporting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, in accordance with operational manuals and relevant instructions.
- Maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, and achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring the secure handling of cash and credit card payments related to individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducting pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensuring orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Conducting post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring proper closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reporting on passenger conduct; performing the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining current professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training sessions, emergency procedure drills, and educational workshops and ensuring current license validity.
- Contributing to team success by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is a plus.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts and for extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
