Air Arabia Cabin Crew Opportunity
Air Arabia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its cabin crew team. The successful candidate will serve as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive brand image by consistently enhancing the overall customer experience. The Cabin Crew member will provide exceptional customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. They must be prepared and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established metrics and the company's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights.
- Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures to guarantee their safety and comfort.
- Identifying and reporting potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective measures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding procedures, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivering consistent and excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and supporting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in maintaining the aircraft cabin's cleanliness at transit stations and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available.
- Ensuring orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any problems or discrepancies.
- Accounting to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and performing the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current license.
- Contributing to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
