Role Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Cabin Crew is to represent Air Arabia and ensure passenger loyalty by enhancing the overall travel experience. This involves providing outstanding customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and comfort for all passengers on board. The role requires a commitment to operational readiness and adherence to company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely attendance, maintain proper grooming standards, and verify personal fitness and legality for assigned flights.
- Actively participate in pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, assigned roles, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instruct passengers clearly on safety procedures and ensure their well-being throughout the flight.
- Identify potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer necessary first aid to passengers when required.
- Report any irregularities or malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.
- Welcome passengers cordially and assist with boarding formalities, accurately entering required data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Deliver consistently excellent customer service, attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and provide assistance to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the “Charity Cloud” program by effectively promoting on-board products, meals, and charity services to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Handle cash and credit card payments securely and accurately for sales and donations.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering items, and other specified equipment; report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before subsequent flights.
- Manage the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Carry out post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per company policies, providing objective feedback and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, including the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and perform the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring current license validity.
- Contribute to team objectives by achieving allocated sales targets and accomplishing related results.
Important Requirements:
- Age between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm for Female candidates, 170 cm for Male candidates.
- Weight should be proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered an advantage.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Candidates must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is an added value.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a shift pattern, including extended working hours.
- Demonstrated high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute to team efforts and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
