Cabin Crew Open Day - Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Air Arabia is conducting an open day in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, for aspiring cabin crew members. Interested candidates are invited to apply online. Shortlisted applicants will receive an invitation email 2-3 days prior to the open day with details regarding the venue, time, and date.

Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle, and maintaining operational readiness in line with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct:

  • Ensures timely attendance, appropriate grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for all assigned flights.
  • Attends pre-flight briefings to gain a full understanding of flight details, assigned roles, targets, security measures, and boarding procedures.

Safety Measures:

  • Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Identifies safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to take necessary actions, in adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
  • Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.

Customer Service:

  • Welcomes passengers, assists with boarding formalities, and inputs essential data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
  • Provides consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the guidelines in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
  • Contributes to on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting meals, products, and charity services, thus meeting individual and team targets.
  • Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments from onboard sales and donations.

Crosschecking and Reports:

  • Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as required.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
  • Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
  • Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per company policies; this includes an objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any flight problems, and sealing duty-free containers.
  • Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and carries out the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains current professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops and by ensuring valid licenses.
  • Contributes to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets.

Important Requirements

  • Age: 20 to 33 years old
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
  • Weight: Proportional to age and height
  • Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
  • Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties
  • Ability to swim with a flotation device

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is an advantage.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is desirable.
  • Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Previous cabin crew or customer service experience in the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is advantageous.
  • Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a shift pattern and for extended hours.
  • High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute and deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
