Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as a key ambassador for Air Arabia, committed to cultivating customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image. The primary objective is to deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the entire flight cycle. Cabin Crew must consistently be ready and medically fit for duty, operating efficiently and in full compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures punctuality, immaculate grooming, physical fitness, and compliance with all requirements for assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, role assignments, sales targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Provides essential safety instructions to passengers, maintaining their safety and comfort throughout the journey.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks on board, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as required.
- Promptly reports any irregularities, malfunctions, or incidents to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
- Warmly welcomes passengers during boarding and assists with boarding formalities. Accurately records necessary flight data in the aircraft log book, adhering to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistent, excellent customer service, attending to individual passenger needs, including pre-bookings and special requests.
- Identifies and provides support to passengers who may be experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures the secure and proper handling of all cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified equipment. Reports any deficiencies promptly to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assists in supervising the thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and confirming adequate re-catering and duty-free stock levels before departure.
- Facilitates an orderly and complete handover and takeover process of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports in accordance with company policies, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor (if applicable), reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring the correct closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and may perform the duties of a Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge through participation in recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and by ensuring their cabin crew license remains current.
- Contributes to overall team success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives and fulfilling related responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Age between 20 and 30 years.
- Minimum height of 160 cm for female applicants and 168 cm for male applicants.
- Weight must be in proportion to age and height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Must be medically and physically fit to perform all cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a Diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- Holding an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Must be capable of working flexible shift patterns and extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability in response to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute effectively and achieve results in line with established policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
