The successful candidate will serve as an Air Arabia ambassador, cultivating customer loyalty and fostering a positive corporate image by consistently enhancing the passenger experience. This role prioritizes providing exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The candidate must maintain productivity in accordance with established metrics and company policies and procedures.
The cabin crew member will ensure punctual attendance, maintain professional grooming, and adhere to all relevant regulations. Pre-flight briefings will be attended to ensure understanding of flight details, assigned roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures. The incumbent will instruct passengers on safety procedures, identify potential safety and security risks, collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to address these risks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), administer first aid when necessary, and promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel (Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and/or Captain).
Responsibilities include welcoming passengers, assisting with boarding formalities, accurately recording data in the aircraft logbook, providing exceptional customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. The candidate will identify and assist passengers experiencing difficulties, complying with relevant policies and procedures. Active promotion of onboard meals, products, and charity services to maximize revenue and achieve individual and team targets is also expected. Secure handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations is crucial.
The candidate will perform pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering are available, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. This includes assisting with cabin cleaning at transit stations and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Orderly handover/takeover procedures with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff are to be meticulously followed. Post-flight briefing and assessment reports will be completed according to established procedures, including objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight-related problems or discrepancies. The candidate will account for passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and will perform the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain. Finally, maintaining professional and safety knowledge is crucial, requiring participation in recurrent training, emergency procedure training, educational workshops, and license renewal. The candidate will also contribute to team efforts by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
