This recruitment drive is exclusively for candidates available for assessments in Portugal. Air Arabia seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join its Cabin Crew team, serving as an ambassador for the airline while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member will be responsible for promoting a positive corporate image, building customer loyalty, and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight cycle. This role demands strong customer service skills and a commitment to upholding Air Arabia's standards of excellence. The individual will be responsible for ensuring operational productivity aligns with company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities
Conduct:
- Ensure timely attendance, maintaining proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Actively participate in pre-flight briefings, ensuring understanding of flight details, assigned roles, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Provide clear instructions to passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identify potential safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action based on established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly report any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Service:
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, accurately recording relevant data in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to company policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant guidelines.
- Promote on-board meals, products, and charity services to maximize revenue and support the "Charity Cloud" program, achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensure secure handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conduct pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment before takeoff. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations, ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before departure.
- Ensure orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
- Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight. Close and seal duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and perform the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and licensing renewals.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks and achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years old
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is an advantage.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is valued.
- Fit to fly with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is a plus.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to and deliver against company policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
