Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He or she provides exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with established metrics and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures punctual attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Attends briefings to ensure understanding of flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Greets passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering required data into the aircraft logbook following Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are on board before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before continuing the flight.
- Ensures an organized and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing an objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, including the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops and by ensuring current license.
- Contributes to team success by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the assistance of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus)
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (added value)
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the airlines/aviation/hospitality industries (added value)
- Active cabin crew license (advantage)
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
