Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image through exceptional customer experiences. They ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must maintain operational readiness, adhering to established productivity standards, company policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, and security/boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety protocols, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters necessary data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant guidelines.
- Maximizes on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting meals, products, and charity services, contributing to individual and team targets.
- Ensures secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in maintaining a thoroughly cleaned aircraft cabin at transit stations, ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free product replenishment.
- Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures. Provides objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reports any flight problems or discrepancies, including sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor. Assumes the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops. Ensures license validity.
- Contributes to team success by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is advantageous.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
