The Cabin Crew member serves as a key ambassador, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image at all times. This is achieved by enhancing the overall customer experience while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight journey. The role requires the individual to be operationally ready and physically fit, maintaining productivity in accordance with established measures, company policies, and procedures.
Conduct: Ensures punctual attendance, maintains proper grooming standards, confirms physical fitness, and verifies personal legal compliance for assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort throughout the flight. Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions aligned with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provides necessary first aid to passengers. Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.
Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding procedures. Enters required data into the aircraft log book in compliance with company and regulatory procedures (GCAA/CAA). Delivers consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to detailed procedures in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions. Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program through effective promotion of meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets. Ensures the secure and proper handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before take-off. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as required. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned during transit stops and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before departure. Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff. Participates in post-flight briefings and completes assessment reports in accordance with adopted policies and procedures, including providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and is prepared to perform Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain. Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge through recurrent and emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and ensuring the validity of their license. Contributes to team success by achieving allocated sales targets and overall objectives.
