Job Overview

The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This is achieved by consistently enhancing the overall customer experience. The role is centered on delivering exceptional customer service to all passengers while rigorously upholding their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. A Cabin Crew member must maintain operational readiness and fitness, ensuring productivity aligns with established performance metrics and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and Preparedness: Ensures punctual attendance, adherence to grooming standards, physical fitness, and legal compliance for all assigned flights. Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight specifics, understand role assignments, security checks, boarding procedures, and targets.
  • Safety and Security: Instructs passengers clearly on safety procedures to ensure their well-being and comfort during the flight. Identifies potential safety and security risks onboard and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provides first aid assistance to passengers as required. Reports any irregularities or malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Welcomes passengers onboard and assists with boarding formalities. Provides continuous, high-quality customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and specific passenger needs. Identifies and offers support to passengers experiencing distress or difficulties, adhering to guidelines in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
  • Onboard Sales and Reporting: Actively contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and participation in the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, striving to achieve individual and team sales targets. Manages cash and credit card payments for sales and donations securely and accurately. Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified items, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in ensuring the cleanliness of the aircraft cabin during transit and confirming adequate re-catering and duty-free stock before departure. Manages orderly handovers and takeovers of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance teams. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established procedures, providing objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers. Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and is capable of performing Cabin Supervisor duties when designated by the Captain.
  • Professional Development: Maintains essential professional knowledge, safety proficiency, and competitiveness through regular attendance at recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring all necessary licenses are current. Contributes effectively to the team effort, achieving assigned targets and objectives.

Requirements

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm for females, 168 cm for males.
  • Weight: Must be proportionate to age and height.
  • Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a Diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an asset.
  • Must be medically fit to fly with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is valued.
  • Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working effectively in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high levels of flexibility and adaptability to accommodate frequent changes and demanding schedules.
  • Proven ability to adhere to policies and procedures and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
