Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This role prioritizes delivering exceptional customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The ideal candidate will be prepared and capable of operating efficiently, adhering to established company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensure punctual attendance, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Participate in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand assigned roles, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identify potential safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective action in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcome passengers and assist them with boarding formalities, accurately recording necessary data in the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service by addressing individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Recognize and support passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, striving to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensure proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations managed by the Cabin Crew member.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conduct pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment before takeoff. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations, confirming adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before departure.
- Ensure an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures, objectively evaluating the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any flight-related problems or discrepancies, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger behavior and conduct the duties of the "Cabin Supervisor" when designated as such by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness through attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring current license certifications.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages):
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate, with a diploma in Travel/Tourism preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is highly valued.
- Fit to fly with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is advantageous.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
