Cabin Crew Member - Croatia Recruitment Drive
Air Arabia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cabin Crew Members to join its team. This recruitment drive is specifically for candidates available for assessments in Croatia. The Cabin Crew Member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle, while maintaining readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures punctual attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, and security and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort. Identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers as needed. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering required data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Delivers consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures. Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as necessary. Assists in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct. Acts as ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain. Maintains required professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license. Contributes to team success by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Diploma in Travel/Tourism preferred).
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is valued.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
