Cabin Crew Member - Kazakhstan Recruitment Drive

The Cabin Crew Member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew Member must be ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and the company's adopted policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights.
- Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, distribution of roles, targets, and security checks, boarding procedures.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies areas of safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities; enters required data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers consistent, excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Maximizes on-board revenue and "Charity Cloud" program contributions by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are present before takeoff; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures; provides objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reports any problems or discrepancies on the flight, including the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor; fulfills the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops, and by ensuring a current license.
- Contributes to team success by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is a plus.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
