Cabin Crew Vacancy - Kazakhstan Recruitment Drive

Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador, dedicated to building customer loyalty and fostering a positive corporate image. This is achieved by consistently enhancing the overall customer experience. The role involves providing excellent customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. Cabin Crew must be operationally ready and fit to ensure productivity aligns with established measures and company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct:

  1. Ensures punctuality, maintains professional grooming standards, personal fitness, and legal readiness for assigned flights. Attends pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.

Safety Measures:

  1. Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
  2. Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  3. Administers first aid to passengers as required.
  4. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.

Customer Service:

  1. Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters necessary data into the aircraft log book according to established procedures.
  2. Provides consistent excellent customer service by attending to passenger pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
  3. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
  4. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and participation in the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets.
  5. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.

Crosschecking and Reports:

  1. Carries out pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
  2. Assists in ensuring the thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and confirms adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
  3. Ensures an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
  4. Conducts post-flight briefings and assessment reports in line with adopted policies and procedures. Provides objective evaluations, reports flight problems or discrepancies, and manages the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  5. Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assumes the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
  6. Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and workshops, ensuring current license validity.
  7. Contributes effectively to the team by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 to 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
  • Weight: To be in proportion to Age and Height.
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

  • A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered an advantage.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
  • Fit to fly, with good general health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in Written and Spoken English.

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or hospitality industries is considered an added value.
  • An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working in a shift pattern and for extended working hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Proven ability to contribute to team goals and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
