Cabin Crew Member - Kazakhstan Recruitment Drive

This position is part of a recruitment initiative exclusively for candidates available for assessments within Kazakhstan.

The Cabin Crew Member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and a positive brand image. They will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout all phases of flight. The role requires consistent readiness and fitness for duty, maintaining high productivity in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Readiness: Maintains timely attendance, impeccable grooming standards, and ensures personal fitness and legal eligibility for all assigned flights. Attends pre-flight briefings to receive flight details, role assignments, safety protocols, and boarding procedures.
  • Safety Procedures: Delivers comprehensive safety instructions to passengers, prioritizing their well-being at all times. Identifies and mitigates safety and security risks in collaboration with the Cabin Supervisor, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provides first aid to passengers when needed. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Customer Experience: Greets passengers and facilitates smooth boarding processes, accurately recording necessary data in the aircraft log book. Provides consistent, high-quality customer service, proactively addressing passenger requests and needs. Identifies and supports passengers experiencing difficulties, in accordance with company guidelines. Actively contributes to onboard revenue and charity initiatives by promoting meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team goals. Manages cash and credit card transactions securely.
  • Crosschecking and Reporting: Conducts pre-flight checks of all supplies, emergency equipment, and catering items. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Ensures the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned and adequately restocked at transit stations. Oversees organized handovers with catering, cleaning, and maintenance teams. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports. Provides objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor's performance, documenting any issues, and overseeing the secure sealing of duty-free containers. Responsible for passenger conduct and may assume Cabin Supervisor duties when assigned.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintains updated professional knowledge, competencies, and certifications by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedures drills, and relevant workshops. Contributes to team effectiveness through successful achievement of sales targets and assigned objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Age: 20 to 33 years of age.
  • Height: Minimum of 160 cm for females and 168 cm for males.
  • Weight: Proportional to age and height.
  • Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while in uniform.
  • Health: Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
  • Swimming: Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered an advantage.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is preferred.
  • Demonstrated good health, with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Prior experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the airline, aviation, or hospitality sectors is beneficial.
  • Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in a shift pattern and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequently changing and demanding schedules.
  • Proven capacity to contribute to and achieve organizational goals, adhering to established policies and KPIs.
