Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position

The ideal candidate will serve as Air Arabia's ambassador, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This individual will ensure an exceptional customer experience, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight cycle.
Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the complete flight cycle. They must be prepared and capable of operating efficiently, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct:
- Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality of self for assigned flights.
- Attend "Briefing" sessions to acknowledge flight details, distribution of roles, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, etc.
Safety Measures:
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures to be followed, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identify areas of safety and security risks and partner with the Cabin Supervisor to take remedial action in accordance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate, of any irregularities or malfunctions promptly.
Customer Service:
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA adopted procedures.
- Provide consistent, excellent customer service by attending to passengers' individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensure proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment prior to takeoff. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensure orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Carry out post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures. Provide objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, report any problems or discrepancies on the flight, and close and seal duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carry out the duties of the 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated as such by the Captain.
- Maintain necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and by ensuring current license.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: To be in proportion to age and height
- Clear skin with no marks or tattoos visible while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, with good general health. No serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Must be fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
