Job Summary:
The Cabin Crew member serves as a vital ambassador for Air Arabia, embodying a commitment to customer loyalty and a positive brand image. This role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight. The individual will be expected to maintain readiness for duty, aligning their performance with company standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct:
- Ensuring punctual attendance, adhering to grooming standards, maintaining fitness, and possessing required flight qualifications for assigned duties.
- Attending pre-flight briefings to gather pertinent flight information, role assignments, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures:
- Clearly instructing passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Proactively identifying potential safety and security hazards, and collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Providing first aid assistance to passengers as needed.
- Immediately reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain.
- Customer Service:
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities while accurately documenting necessary data in the aircraft logbook in line with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines.
- Consistently providing top-tier service to passengers, addressing their specific pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulty, following procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and related instructions.
- Actively contributing to maximizing on-board revenue through effective promotion of meals, products, and the "Charity Cloud" program while achieving individual and team sales goals.
- Ensuring the accurate and secure handling of cash and credit card transactions from individual sales and charitable donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports:
- Performing thorough pre-flight checks, verifying adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other necessary items; reporting any discrepancies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting with ensuring cabin cleanliness during transit and proper restocking of catering and duty-free products.
- Ensuring a systematic handover/takeover process between catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefings and evaluations in accordance with established policies; providing unbiased assessments of the Cabin Supervisor; reporting any flight-related problems or inconsistencies; and ensuring the secure closure of duty-free containers.
- Reporting on passenger behavior to the Cabin Supervisor; assuming the duties of the 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Committing to continuous professional development and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedure drills, educational workshops, and maintaining current certifications.
- Contributing to the overall team performance by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Height: Minimum 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Skin: Clear, free from visible marks or tattoos while in cabin crew uniform.
- Health: Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties.
- Swimming: Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training: First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training preferred.
- Health: Demonstrable good health with no serious or chronic medical conditions.
- Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language: Fluency in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as cabin crew, or in customer service within the airline, aviation, or hospitality sectors, is an asset.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capability to work flexible shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
- Ability to effectively contribute and achieve performance goals in accordance with company policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators.
