Cabin Crew - Air Arabia
Air Arabia is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join its team as a Cabin Crew Member. This role is a vital part of providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout their journey. As an Air Arabia ambassador, the successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a positive corporate image while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence.
Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew Member will act as an Air Arabia ambassador, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. The individual will provide excellent customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort are achieved throughout the complete flight cycle. They will also be ready and fit to operate, ensuring their productivity aligns with set measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities
Conduct:
- Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Participate in pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand role distribution, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures to be followed, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identify potential safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, accurately logging necessary data in the aircraft log book as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provide consistent and exceptional customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other instructions.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, meeting individual and team targets.
- Ensure secure and proper handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations managed by the Cabin Crew Member.
Crosschecking and Reporting:
- Perform pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment are available before takeoff. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assist in ensuring thorough cleaning of the aircraft cabin at transit stations and that sufficient re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensure orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies on the flight, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assume the duties of the "Cabin Supervisor" when designated as such by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and ensuring current licenses.
- Contribute to the team effort by achieving related results and allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: To be in proportion to age and height
- Appearance: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Swimming: Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality Industries is an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a shift pattern and for extended working hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
Location: Bangladesh
Candidates must be available for assessments in Bangladesh.
