Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position – Bangladesh Recruitment Drive
Air Arabia seeks highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join its cabin crew team in Bangladesh. This role requires candidates available for assessments within Bangladesh.
Job Purpose:
The successful candidate will serve as an Air Arabia ambassador, fostering customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image by consistently exceeding passenger expectations. Responsibilities encompass providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire flight cycle, ensuring passenger safety and comfort, and maintaining operational efficiency in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and Preparation: Ensuring punctual attendance, maintaining professional grooming standards, meeting all fitness and regulatory requirements, and participating in pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, roles, targets, and security protocols.
- Safety and Security: Instructing passengers on safety procedures; identifying and reporting safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor; administering first aid as needed; promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, flight crew, and captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service Excellence: Welcoming passengers, assisting with boarding formalities, accurately recording data in the aircraft logbook; providing outstanding customer service, addressing passenger needs and requests; assisting passengers experiencing difficulties; promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services to maximize revenue and contribute to the "Charity Cloud" program; securely handling cash and credit card payments.
- Operational Efficiency and Reporting: Conducting pre-flight checks of supplies and equipment, reporting any deficiencies; assisting with cabin cleaning and re-stocking at transit stations; ensuring proper handover/takeover procedures with ground staff; completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports, accurately documenting any flight issues; accounting for passenger conduct and fulfilling the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated.
- Professional Development: Maintaining current professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, workshops, and license renewal. Contributing to team goals and achieving individual sales targets.
Essential Requirements:
- Age: 20-33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear complexion, free from visible marks or tattoos
- Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous)
- First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training (preferred)
- Excellent health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in written and spoken English
Experience:
While fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is considered a significant asset. An active cabin crew license is advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work rotating shifts, extended hours, and adapt to frequent changes and demanding schedules, consistently delivering results in line with company policies, procedures, and KPIs.
