Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position - Recruitment Drive in Austria

Job Purpose
As an Air Arabia Cabin Crew member, the successful candidate will act as an ambassador for the airline, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image. This will be achieved through consistently enhancing the overall customer experience.
The Cabin Crew member is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The candidate must be prepared and physically fit to operate effectively, adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure productivity meets established measures.
Key Result Responsibilities
Conduct
- Ensure timely attendance, adherence to grooming standards, fitness, and legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Actively participate in pre-flight briefings to ensure understanding of flight details, assigned roles, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identify potential safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provide consistently excellent customer service to passengers by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensure secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports
- Conduct pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other required items prior to take-off. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations, and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensure orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Conduct post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers and perform the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated as such by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring all licenses are current.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is an advantage).
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is highly valued.
- Must be medically fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions, or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is considered an advantage.
- An active cabin crew license is highly advantageous.
- Must be capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Must demonstrate high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Must demonstrate the ability to contribute effectively and deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
