Position Summary:
Air Arabia is seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join its Cabin Crew team. The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, playing a vital role in fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This position is centered on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the entire flight cycle, and maintaining readiness and fitness to operate in accordance with company policies and procedures. This recruitment drive is specifically for candidates available for assessments in Vienna, Austria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acts as a primary point of contact and ambassador for Air Arabia passengers.
- Ensures personal punctuality, appropriate grooming, fitness, and legal readiness for all assigned flights.
- Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to stay informed on flight details, roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks during the flight and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement necessary remedial actions based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as required.
- Reports any irregularities or malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
- Welcomes passengers warmly and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and relevant aviation authority procedures.
- Provides consistently excellent customer service, attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and offers assistance to passengers who may be experiencing stress or difficulties, following guidelines in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue through efficient promotion and sale of meals, products, and participation in the “Charity Cloud” program, working towards individual and team targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of all cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment, reporting any deficiencies.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is properly cleaned during transit and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available for subsequent sectors.
- Ensures an orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin to or from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
- Participates in post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective feedback and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and is prepared to perform Cabin Supervisor duties if designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety competency through recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring the validity of their license.
- Contributes to team goals by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age between 20 and 33 years at the time of application.
- Minimum height requirement: 160 cm for females, 168 cm for males.
- Weight must be in proportion to age and height.
- Clear skin is required, with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Must be medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim is required, with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is mandatory. A diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are beneficial.
- Must be fit to fly, possessing good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality industries is an added value.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Candidates must be capable of working flexible shift patterns and extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent operational changes and demanding schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute effectively and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
