Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as a brand ambassador for Air Arabia, prioritizing customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive corporate image throughout the complete flight cycle. Responsibilities encompass providing exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort. The candidate must maintain productivity in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities:
Conduct & Preparedness:
The Cabin Crew member ensures punctual attendance, adheres to grooming standards, maintains fitness for duty, and complies with all legal requirements. Pre-flight briefings are mandatory to confirm flight details, roles, targets, and security procedures.
Safety & Security:
The Cabin Crew member is responsible for:
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Identifying and reporting safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor, taking remedial action as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid as needed.
- Promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel (Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, Captain).
Customer Service:
The Cabin Crew member will:
- Welcome passengers, assist with boarding formalities, and accurately record data in the aircraft logbook.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passenger requests and needs proactively.
- Assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulty, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue by effectively promoting meals, products, and the "Charity Cloud" program, meeting individual and team targets.
- Securely handle cash and credit card payments.
Cross-checking and Reporting:
The Cabin Crew member will:
- Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies and equipment, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assist in maintaining cabin cleanliness and ensuring sufficient re-catering and duty-free products at transit stations.
- Ensure smooth handover/takeover procedures with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports, including objective evaluations and reporting any discrepancies.
- Account for passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assume the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and license renewal.
- Contribute to the team's overall success, achieving sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20-33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while in uniform
- Medically and physically fit for cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Diploma in Travel/Tourism preferred)
- First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training (advantageous)
- Excellent health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries is highly valued.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Ability to work shifts and extended hours.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
