Cabin Crew Member - Austria Recruitment

Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cabin Crew Member to join its team in Austria. This recruitment drive is exclusively for candidates available for assessments in Vienna.

The successful candidate will serve as an ambassador for Air Arabia, prioritizing customer loyalty and enhancing the overall passenger experience. They will provide exceptional service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight. Maintaining peak readiness and adhering to company policies and procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct: Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Participating in briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and safety protocols.
  • Safety Measures: Instructing passengers on safety procedures, identifying and reporting safety risks, administering first aid when necessary, and promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Customer Service: Welcoming and assisting passengers with boarding, attending to their individual needs and requests, assisting passengers in distress, promoting onboard sales and charity programs, and handling cash and credit card payments securely.
  • Crosschecking and Reports: Conducting pre-flight checks, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment, assisting with cabin cleaning and re-catering, ensuring proper handover to staff, and completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports. Accounting for passenger conduct and fulfilling Cabin Supervisor duties when designated.
  • Maintaining professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training and ensuring current licensing.

Essential Requirements:

  • Age between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum height of 160 cm (female) or 168 cm (male).
  • Weight proportionate to age and height.
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the uniform.
  • Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred).
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (an added advantage).
  • Good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries (an advantage).
  • Active cabin crew license (an advantage).
  • Capability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Proven ability to contribute to and deliver on policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
