Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position

Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member will provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, prioritizing their safety and comfort throughout the flight. The candidate must be ready and able to operate effectively, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Result Responsibilities
Conduct:
- The Cabin Crew member will ensure timely attendance, maintain appropriate grooming standards, and adhere to all fitness and legal requirements for assigned flights. Attendance at pre-flight briefings is mandatory to receive flight details, understand role distribution, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures:
- The Cabin Crew member will provide passengers with clear instructions on safety procedures, ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times.
- The candidate will identify potential safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective action in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- They will administer first aid to passengers as needed.
- The Cabin Crew member will promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- The Cabin Crew member will warmly welcome passengers and assist them with boarding formalities, accurately recording necessary data in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- The candidate will consistently provide exceptional customer service by addressing pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
- They will identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other pertinent instructions.
- The Cabin Crew member will contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and promoting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively selling on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving both individual and team targets.
- They will ensure the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- The Cabin Crew member will conduct pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are available prior to takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate.
- They will assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before departure.
- The candidate will ensure an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
- They will participate in post-flight briefings and assessments, objectively evaluating the Cabin Supervisor's performance, reporting any issues or discrepancies encountered during the flight, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- The Cabin Crew member will account to the Cabin Supervisor for the conduct of passengers and will assume the duties of the "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- They will maintain necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and ensuring a current license.
- The candidate will contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 and 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is desirable.
- Fit to fly with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- An active cabin crew license is advantageous.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Shows high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute effectively and achieve set KPIs.
