Cabin Crew - Air Arabia

Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member acts as Air Arabia's ambassador, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. Their primary focus is on enhancing the overall passenger experience by providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the complete flight cycle. They are expected to be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in line with established measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Attend "Briefing" sessions to acknowledge flight details, understand role assignments, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identify potential safety and security risks and collaborate with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contribute to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensure proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conduct pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment prior to takeoff. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensure orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Carry out post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures. This includes providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting any problems or discrepancies on the flight, and closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carry out the duties of the 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated as such by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and by ensuring current license.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: To be in proportion to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no marks or tattoos that would be visible whilst wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as a cabin crew member or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
