Job Purpose:
The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image. This involves providing excellent customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The ideal candidate will be operationally ready and maintain productivity in line with established measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance for assigned flights, maintaining proper grooming, fitness, and all legal requirements.
- Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand role distribution, review targets, and participate in security checks and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to take appropriate remedial action in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides consistently excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the corresponding policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supports the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, striving to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies of emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before departure.
- Guarantees an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports following adopted policies and procedures. Provides an objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight, and ensures the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carries out the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated as such by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and by ensuring a current license.
- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is valuable.
- Fit to fly with good general health, no serious medical conditions, or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is highly desirable.
- An active cabin crew license is an asset.
- Candidates should be able to work in shifts and for extended hours.
- High flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules are essential.
- Proven ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs is crucial.
