Cabin Crew - Air Arabia

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct:
- Maintain punctual attendance, adhering to grooming standards, and ensuring personal fitness and legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Actively participate in pre-flight briefings, ensuring understanding of flight details, role distribution, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other pertinent information.
- Safety Measures:
- Instruct passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort throughout the flight.
- Identify potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective measures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administer first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly inform the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service:
- Warmly welcome passengers and assist with boarding formalities, accurately recording relevant data in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provide consistently exceptional customer service by attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identify and assist passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the guidelines outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contribute to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensure secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations managed by the individual.
- Crosschecking and Reporting:
- Conduct pre-flight checks to confirm sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other essential items prior to take-off. Report any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assist in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensure an orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Complete post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures. Provide objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, report any problems or discrepancies encountered during the flight, and finalize and seal duty-free containers.
- Account to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assume the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintain professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by participating in recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and by ensuring all licenses are up-to-date.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 to 30 years for candidates without prior experience as a Cabin Crew; up to 33 years for Experienced Cabin Crew.
- Height: Minimum 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to Age and Height.
- Appearance: Clear skin with no marks or tattoos visible when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medical Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Swimming Ability: Capable of swimming with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are highly valued.
- Good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Fluency in Written and Spoken English is mandatory.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is advantageous.
- An active cabin crew license is a plus.
- Ability to work in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrated high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
