Aery Aviation, LLC is seeking a qualified Second-In-Command (Co-Pilot) to support OCONUS flight operations in the King Air 350. This role, based in Newport News, VA, requires exceptional aviation skills, a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach. The Second-In-Command will be instrumental in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient flight operations, including the identification and resolution of aircraft maintenance issues.
About the Role
The Second-In-Command (Co-Pilot) is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of flight operations. Key duties include maintaining comprehensive safety-of-flight documentation in accordance with industry and U.S. Army standards, and proactively identifying and coordinating the resolution of aircraft maintenance concerns. This position supports challenging OCONUS missions, requiring adaptability and adherence to stringent operational protocols.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent aviation experience in lieu of a degree.

Minimum 1000 hours of total documented flight time.

Minimum 500 hours of Pilot-In-Command (PIC) total time.

Minimum 100 hours of Multi-Engine flight time.

Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.

Valid FAA Commercial Airplane and Airplane Airman Certificate.

Multiengine Land and Instrument Airplane ratings.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Currently possess an active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Minimum age of 21.

Possess a valid passport and state driver’s license.

Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Ability to meet all contractual/program training and DoD medical requirements for OCONUS travel.

Must complete CONUS Replacement Courses (CRC) within 90 days of hire.

Active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Minimum 300 hours PIC time in a King Air 300/350 or similar multi-engine, turboprop aircraft.

Minimum 200 hours of actual Instrument time.

Minimum 200 hours of Turbine flight time.

Experience with Proline 21 systems.

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating held for the last two consecutive years.

Prior experience as a U.S. Military, Customs, DEA Pilot, or US Contracting ISR Pilot.

Experience as a U.S. Military Standardization Instructor Pilot, Instructor Pilot, or Maintenance Pilot.

Prior OCONUS rotation experience, particularly in the current area of operation, is highly desirable.
