Pilot - Special Mission Operations
Our company seeks a highly motivated and experienced Pilot to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Flying Operations, the Pilot will be a crucial part of our special mission operations. The ideal candidate is an agile, proactive individual with a passion for aviation and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This full-time, hands-on role requires frequent travel. The successful candidate will be a team player with a professional outlook and attitude and must reside within two hours of a major Australian city.
Responsibilities:
The Pilot will be responsible for conducting flight operations in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. He or she will work collaboratively with the team to ensure safe and efficient execution of missions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a small team.
- Possession of an Australian Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane).
- Current Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (Aeroplane).
- Valid Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate.
- Experience operating within Primary Control Zones (Class D and C airspace).
- Previous experience in survey or special mission operations is highly desirable.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- Total flight hours: 2500
- Total command hours: 1500
- Multi-Engine PIC/PICUS: 500
- Total command on ME-Class aircraft < 5700kg: 100
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work a 16 days on / 12 days off roster, including 4 standby days within the 12 days off period.
