Aviation Operations Pilot

This exciting full-time position offers a hands-on role reporting directly to the Head of Flying Operations. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable and proactive individual with a passion for travel and a proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments. A professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills are essential. Applicants must reside within a two-hour radius of a major Australian city.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Experience working effectively within a small team is crucial. Further requirements include:

• Current Australian Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane)
• Multi-Engine Instrument Rating (Aeroplane)
• Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
• Demonstrated experience in primary control zones (Class D and C)
• Prior experience in survey or special mission operations is highly desirable.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following minimum flight hour requirements:

• Total Flight Hours: 2500
• Total Command Hours: 1500
• Multi-Engine Pilot-in-Command/Pilot-in-Command Under Supervision (PIC/PICUS): 500
• Total Command Time on Multi-Engine aircraft under 5700 kg: 100 hours

Furthermore, the position requires the ability to adhere to a demanding 16-days-on/12-days-off roster, inclusive of four standby days within the 12-day off period.
