Candidate Requirements
Prospective HondaJet Captains must meet the following essential criteria:
- Possess the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Be able to commute within 1.5 hours of Biggin Hill Airport.
- Hold a valid UK CAA ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence).
- Accumulate a minimum of 2000 total flight hours, with at least 500 hours on jet aircraft.
- Demonstrate flight recency within the last 12 months.
- Hold ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 5 or higher.
Application Process
Interested candidates are encouraged to follow the multi-stage application process:
- Initial CV and supporting document submission to AeroProfessional.
- Successful candidates will undergo a telephone interview conducted by AeroProfessional.
- A subsequent CV submission will be made directly to AstraJet.
- Candidates will participate in a Microsoft Teams interview with AstraJet representatives.
- A face-to-face interview with AstraJet leadership will follow.
- For experienced First Officers transitioning to Captain, a simulator assessment will be conducted.
