Hunnu Air, a distinguished Mongolian airline established in 2011, is actively seeking highly qualified and safety-focused professionals for the pivotal role of Embraer 190 (E190) Captain. Operating a modern E190 fleet across an expanding network of domestic and international routes, Hunnu Air offers an exciting opportunity for experienced aviators to lead flight operations in Mongolia’s dynamic airspace.
This engagement commences with an initial 10-month contract, offering significant potential for extension. The airline also offers pathways for career advancement, including the potential for upgrade to Type Rating Instructor (TRI) or Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) status. Furthermore, the E2 Differences course may be provided to successful candidates, supporting continuous professional development within the Embraer platform.
Essential Role Requirements
Candidates applying for the E190 Captain position must satisfy the following professional requirements:
- A valid EASA, ICAO, or FAA Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- A minimum of 4,000 total flight hours.
- A minimum of 1,500 Pilot-In-Command (PIC) hours on the Embraer 170/190 type (E170/E190).
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) ICAO Level 4 or above.
- Demonstrated flight recency, requiring three months of flight activity prior to the reporting date, or a completed License Proficiency Check (LPC) or Operational Proficiency Check (OPC) within that three-month period.
- The most recent LPC or OPC must not have been completed more than three months prior to the commencement date.
- A commencement date of December 2025 is required.
While not essential, possession of an E170/190 or E195-E2 type rating endorsement is highly preferable.
Compensation and Benefits Package

- Competitive monthly salary inclusive of 80 block hours (BH).
- Overtime compensation: US$80 per block hour for 81–90 BH; US$90 per block hour for 91–100 BH.

- Provision of the E2 Differences course.
- Choice of rotation schedule: 3 months on followed by 1 month off, or 6 weeks on followed by 2 weeks off.
