The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, Grumeti Air is expanding its operations and seeks a Captain ready to assume significant responsibility. Key Responsibilities
The Beechcraft King Air 350i Captain will be entrusted with:
- Safely operating Beechcraft King Air 350i aircraft in accordance with company procedures and Tanzanian aviation regulations.
- Ensuring passenger comfort and safety during safari air transfers.
- Exercising sound aeronautical decision-making, especially in remote airfield operations.
- Contributing to the high operational standards of a personalized safari air transfer service.
- Potentially assuming supervisory or managerial duties as part of the career progression plan.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Right to live and work in a country acceptable to Tanzania.
- Possession of a valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
- Minimum of 4,500 hours Total Time (TT).
- Valid B350 Type-Rating, specifically current and type-rated on B350 with Pro Line Fusion avionics.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Total Time.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours PIC on the B350 aircraft type.
- At least three years' experience as Pilot-in-Command in commercial air transport operations of large aircraft.
- Minimum of 6 months on Last Proficiency Check (LPC).
- Last Operator Proficiency Report (OPC) conducted with their current employer and aircraft.
- English Language Proficiency (ELP) Minimum Level 5.
- 2 to 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in commercial operations (e.g., Chief Pilot, Head of Training).
Desirable Skills
- Demonstrated experience in Remote Airfield Operations is a significant advantage.
