The Opportunity

Operating from Japan's premier international hubs, Narita International Airport and Haneda International Airport, pilots will command a state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet. Role Requirements

Prospective First Officers for this challenging and rewarding role must meet the following stringent requirements:

  • Valid ICAO ATPL or Frozen ATPL/CPL (terms apply)
  • B787 Type-Rating with a Command Instrument Rating (for Type-Rated applicants)
  • Valid ICAO Jet Aircraft Type-Rating with a Command Instrument Rating (for Non-Type-Rated applicants)
  • Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time, of which at least 500 hours must be on a commercial jet aircraft
  • Minimum 250 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC), OR 500 hours Pilot Under Supervision (PUS), OR a combination of 180 hours PIC/PUS plus 70 hours PIC
  • Minimum 200 hours cross-country flight time, with at least 100 hours as PIC/PUS
  • Minimum 75 hours instrument flight time
  • Minimum 100 hours night flight time
  • Valid ICAO Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4 or higher
