Second Officer (m/f/x) – AeroLogic
AeroLogic, a modern cargo airline headquartered at Leipzig/Halle Airport, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Second Officer to join its Flight Operations department. Established in 2007 as a joint venture between DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo, AeroLogic operates a state-of-the-art fleet of 22 Boeing 777F aircraft, primarily serving destinations in Asia and the USA. The airline enjoys a daily connection to Hong Kong and multiple connections to Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Houston, and Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
As a Second Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the Captain and First Officer in the safe and efficient operation of the Boeing 777F aircraft during long-range line operations above FL200. This role presents a unique opportunity for career progression, with a potential conversion to First Officer after approximately two years and the accumulation of a minimum of 750 hours on the B777.
Requirements:
- EASA Part.FCL CPL / IR / MEP(L) including a frozen ATPL (ATPL Theory). MPL qualifications are not accepted.
- MCC on a glass cockpit aircraft, preferably the B737NG. Completion of the MCC training should not be older than 6 months, or a MCC refresher course is required.
- A Boeing Glass Cockpit type rating, such as the B737NG, is advantageous.
- Minimum flight hours as required by EASA to obtain the aforementioned licenses.
- A valid medical Class 1 certificate issued by a physician approved by the issuing authority.
- The right to work and live in the European Union.
- Fluent spoken and written German and English, with a minimum English Proficiency Level 4.
Selection Process:
Shortlisted candidates will participate in a two-day selection process consisting of:
- Cognitive testing
- Simulator evaluation on a B737NG FFS
- Interview
