AeroLogic | B737 Second Officer

AeroLogic, a leading cargo airline based at Leipzig/Halle Airport and a joint venture of DHL Express and Lufthansa Cargo, operates a modern fleet of 22 Boeing 777F aircraft, primarily serving destinations across Asia and the USA, including daily connections to Hong Kong and multiple routes to Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Houston, and Los Angeles.

The Flight Operations department at AeroLogic seeks a dedicated and skilled individual to join their team as a Second Officer.

Second Officer (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

The Second Officer will operate long-range flights above FL200. Opportunities for advancement to First Officer are available after approximately two years and a minimum of 750 hours on the Boeing 777.

Requirements:

  • EASA Part.FCL CPL/IR/MEP(L) with a frozen ATPL (ATPL Theory).
  • Completion of an MCC course on a glass cockpit aircraft, preferably a Boeing 737NG (completion within the last six months or MCC refresher preferred).
  • Boeing glass cockpit type rating (e.g., B737NG) is advantageous.
  • Minimum flight hours as required by EASA for the stated licenses.
  • A valid Class 1 medical certificate issued by an approved physician.
  • Must have the right to live and work within the European Union.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written German and English (minimum English Proficiency Level 4) is mandatory.

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will undergo a comprehensive selection process, including cognitive testing, a Boeing 737NG full flight simulator evaluation, and a personal interview.
