Aero Technologies | First Officer

Aero, a premium air-travel company, is seeking an experienced Gulfstream G-IV First Officer for its operations based at Opa-Locka Executive Airport (OPF), Florida. This role involves global flight operations on variable shifts, emphasizing safety, professionalism, and an elevated customer experience.

About the Role

The Gulfstream G-IV First Officer will serve as both an aircraft operator and a leader within Aero's operations. Responsibilities include ensuring safe and reliable customer travel, managing diverse situations collaboratively with the team and customers, and working independently with limited supervision. The position requires leadership in responding to emergency and non-emergency situations, and the ability to operate in various global climates and locations on variable schedules. This role demands anticipation of needs, strategic planning, and execution in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• FAA ATP license (ATP_UNRESTRICTED or ATP_RESTRICTED).
• Current Gulfstream G-IV type rating (required).
• Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,000 hours turbojet flight time.
• Minimum 500 hours PIC (Pilot in Command) time.
• Minimum 100 hours time in type on the G-IV.
• At least one year of Part 135 and/or Part 121 experience.
• Excellent communication skills with quick, accurate decision-making and close attention to detail.
• Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to pass TSA criminal background checks (CHRC).
• Ability to learn and work with Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs).
• Valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel unrestricted to all global destinations served by Aero.
• Valid passport and documentation allowing re-entry into the United States after international flights.
• Subject to pre-employment drug testing (marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, opioids, and phencyclidine) as a DOT safety-sensitive position.
