Aero Technologies | First Officer

Aero, a premier air travel operator based in Van Nuys, California, is seeking a qualified First Officer to join its flight operations team. This full-time, onsite position will pilot the Gulfstream G-IV aircraft, providing premium private terminal services for passengers. The role involves variable shifts and travel to diverse international destinations under Part 135 and/or Part 121 regulations.

About the Role

The First Officer (FO) will contribute to setting a high standard for safe and reliable air travel. Responsibilities include managing various situations, ensuring passenger safety and comfort, providing leadership during emergency and non-emergency scenarios, and working effectively within a team environment with limited supervision. The position requires adaptability to global climates, diverse locations, and variable shift schedules.

Requirements

• Gulfstream G-IV type rating
• FAA ATP License (ATP_UNRESTRICTED or ATP_RESTRICTED)
• Minimum flight experience: 2,000 hours Total Time (TT), 1,000 hours Turbojet, 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC), and 100 hours time in type (G-IV)
• At least 1 year of Part 135 and/or Part 121 operational experience
• Ability to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Fulfillment of TSA criminal background checks (CHRC)
• Ability to learn and work with Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs)
• Valid FCC Restricted Radio Telephone Operator Permit
• Valid First Class Medical Certificate
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Unrestricted ability to travel to all destinations served by Aero
• Valid passport and documentation for re-entry into the United States after international flights
• Prospective employees are subject to pre-employment drug testing as per DOT regulations (14 CFR part 120 and 49 CFR part 40)
